Skyler Southam In San Antonio For Saturday’s U.S Army
All-American Game
Back in November, I had the opportunity to write a feature
on a high school freshman who had just received a prestigious individual honor
for his accomplishments on the football field.
It was great to get acquainted with Skyler and it’s exciting
to know there is such a talented, hard-working student athlete that will be a
part of Wasatch football for three more years. I’m looking forward to following the kid for the rest of his
prep career… and possibly beyond.
This Saturday, January 5, 2013, The U.S. Army fields its
High School All-American teams in games set to play in the Alamodome in San
Antonio, Texas. The freshman game,
comprised of young American high school players aged 15 and under will take on
a Canadian team of the same age group at 4:00 PM Mountain Standard time. The game can be seen via webcast at the

The headliner, the Senior’s All-American game will be played
just before the freshman game and can be seen live on NBC, KSL Channel 5 with
kick-off at 11:00 AM MST. Skyler,
along with his freshman teammates will be introduced during halftime of the
senior game.

Whether you’re a hardcore football fan who is interested in
watching future college and pro prospects compete on a national stage or just a
supporter of local Wasatch student athletes, it will be exciting to tune in to
watch Sklyer participate.
